Diagnostics and Service Equipment
AC Machine
This enviornmentaly safe machine is used for servicing R12 and R134a air conditioning systems. This machine will remove refrigerant from your car without releasing hazardous gasses into the atmosphere. At Petrilla's we have 2 ASE and 1MACS certified technicians that provide this service.
Coolant Flush Machine
With this machine we don't have to drain and refill coolant. We will:
- Add a flush chemical to the cooling system
- Run the engine to suspend buildup and debris in the cooling system.
- Filter the coolant (down to 1 micron).
- Test and adjust the freeze protection.
- Chemically balance the pH with additives to 9.5 ph
Transmission Flush Machine
At Petrilla's we have the ability to exchange all 10-12 quarts of transmission fluid with our transmission power flush machine. We feel that this service is superior to the industry standard which is removing the transmission oil pan, changing the filter and reinstalling 4 quarts of new fluid with the remaining contaminated fluid.
Smog/Diagnostic Machine
With this equipment we can perform Califonia's Bar 90 Smog Check II Emissions Test. We are a Gold Shield approved station and can also diagnose and repair the most sophisticated computer controlled vehicles.
Brake Lathe
Our Hi-tech precision Brake Lathe will machine your brake rotors and brake drums within a thousandth of an inch. Having your rotors machined will prevent vibrations in your brake pedal by smothing the warped surface.
